Allows for running a redundant ignition system
Running redundant ignition systems gives you piece of mind during long races, but how do you swap the coil wire to the back up ignition? The MSD Automatic Coil Selector solves this problem.
The Automatic Coil Selector will switch the high voltage output from one coil to the other on redundant ignition systems. It can be used with MSD 6 Series Ignition Controls, GM Ignition (MSD PN 10037378), Ford Ignition (MSD PN M-12199-B351) and Mopar Performance Ignition (MSD PN P4876730 and P4876728)
MSD 7 and 8 Series Ignitions cannot be used with the Automatic Coil Selector.
This part is legal for sale or use on Emissions Controlled Vehicles, Uncontrolled (Non-Emissions Controlled) Vehicles, and Racing Use Only Vehicles because it does not affect vehicle emissions and is not covered by emissions regulations.
